Stewart Downing Goal vs Anzhi (Video) | Thunderous Strike Sinks the Russian Outfit

Stewart Downing does not start many matches for Liverpool. And sometimes when he does the player finds himself in an unfamiliar role at left back. But it looks it has only improved the Downing’s mettle as a goalscorer.

In Liverpool’s Europa League win over Anzhi, Downing scored the only goal of the match and that too from his right foot. Pretty amazing stuff this.

(Video) Daniel Agger Cheeky Goal vs Anzhi, Obviously Disallowed

Daniel Agger Attempts a Crosby, Rules Don’t Allow it Anymore.

Thursday night Europa League match between Liverpool vs Anzhi had a pretty cheeky incident involved in it. The player was Daniel Agger who sneaked behind Anzhi goalkeeper Vladimir Gabulov headed the ball which was in goalie’s hand and then fired the ball home.

It was impressive from the Dane but it was obviously disallowed as the rules of football clearly state that.

Emile Heskey Scores with an Overhead Kick Goal vs Melbourne Victory (Video)

Emile Heskey Killing the Scene Down Under, Scores a Bicycle Kick Goal

Emile Heskey, has now scored 4 goals for Newcastle Jets since his arrival in Australia. He bagged a brace in Newcastle Jets 2-1 win over Melbourne victory and the second goal was quite phenomenal. Phenomenal considering the overall mass weight of the player, he is huge. And the Aussies are loving it, perhaps England should have loved it a bit more. And no, by that we don’t mean more memes.

Arsenal vs QPR Probable Starting Lineups, Live Streaming & Preview

Arsenal vs QPR | 27 Oct 12 | English Premier League
Venue: Emirates Stadium
Kick Off: 15.00

Match Preview

Last 3 recent events for Arsenal: 1) Loss to Norwich, 2) Loss to Schalke & 3) the Arsenal AGM. If the news is to believed, Arsene was pretty impeccable at the AGM but the two losses before that cannot be salvaged with anything other than a win against QPR this Saturday. A rousing speech at the AGM received very well by the shareholders would perhaps provide the gunners with some much needed respite after having a few abysmal days. QPR’s last outing was actually decent maybe even brilliant in comparison to their recent form. They managed a draw against Everton and were probably the better team. Esteban Granero has been terrific and with Adel Taarabt having found his scoring shoes could prove to be lethal.

Probable Starting Lineup

The big change in the lineup could be the inclusion of Laurent Koscienly which would mean skipper Thomas Vermaelen moving to left back position.

Arsenal –  Mannone, Jenkisnon, Mertesacker, Koscienly, Vermaelen, Arteta, Ramsey, Cazorla, Podolski, Gervinho, Giroud
QPR –  Cesar, Bosingwa, Mbia, Nelsen, Traore, Diakite, Granero, Taarabt, Park, Hoilett, Zamora

(Video) Ajax vs Manchester City 3-1 Highlights, Goals | Champions League

Ajax Dominates at Home, City almost Out!

The young Ajax Amsterdam side (besides Poulsen of course) demolished Manchester City in more than one way. Being managed by Frank de Boer and legendary Arsenal striker Dennis Bergkamp has got to have its rewards and last night it was there to be seen. Ajax thrashed the champions of England Manchester City and the Citizen’s hope of moving forward from the group of death seems very unlikely.

Manchester City were the first to score though with Samir Nasri on target on the 22nd minute but it was match dominated by the young Ajax side. Ajax leveled just before the first half ended. Siem de Jong goal provided the equalizer. And then Niklas Moisander and Christian Eriksen scored the 2nd & 3rd goal respectively.
