Aston Villa Interested in Andy Carroll as Lambert Refuses to Rule Out a Move | Transfer Rumor & Gossip
It looks like now Aston Villa have entered the race to sign the Liverpool striker. Andy Carroll, who is not yet settled with the Liverpool side has attracted a host of clubs. Both AC Milan and West Ham United have expressed their interest to swoop in for the big striker, either buying him or for a year long loan.
And now you can add Aston Villa to that list. New Villa boss Paul Lmabert refused to rule out any possibility and said “If we can get him that’d be great. I’ve heard people are linked with him. That doesn’t surprise me. He’s a top player and not one I would dismiss.”
Earlier Liverpool boss Brandon Rodgers had said the he will look in to options as far as Andy Carroll is concerned. And now with the arrival of Fabio Borini from Roma, Carroll leaving Liverpool looks like a possibility.
Andy Carroll has not had it easy moving to Liverpool from Newcastle United in a big money move. The price tag seems to follow the young striker everywhere.
But would it be correct for Liverpool to sell Andy Carroll or a loan movement make much more sense. Some would even say that the player should remain at Liverpool as he had just start showing good form.
