Top 10 Most Valuable Teams in the World 2012

Manchester United has done it again, off the field this time. As they lead the list of most valuable teams in the world in 2012.

Forbes has released the top 50 most valuable teams in the world. And the red side of Manchester is dominating the world. This news, in fact, has come at the correct time for Manchester United as they prepare to be listed at New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).

A total of seven football teams made it to the list of top 50 and seven teams from the MLB also made it.

Football clubs did take the top 2 spot in the list but as it turns out NFL is the real money making machine.

Apparently, NFL is booming with money as all of its 32 franchises made it to the top 50 list of most valuable teams released by Forbes. In Motorsport, only Ferrari made the list whereas Basketball also got only one team in the list with New York Knicks.

Other football teams in the top 10 list are Real Madrid, Barcelona & Arsenal. Other than that the list is dominated by Major League Baseball (MLB) teams and National Football League (NFL) teams.
