Aston Villa finished off their US tour with a win over Portland Timbers. The match went to penalties as it was 2-2 at the end of 90 minutes. Brad Guzan was the hero for Aston Villas as he saved the final penalty of Bright Dike. Aston Villa win all 3 of their matches in their US tour. Certainly a good start in the pre season.

Earlier Ciaran Clark had given Villa the lead in the 42nd minute but Portland Timbers came back through Sebastian Rincon. POrtland had to come back again as Mathew Lowton scored for Villa in the 80th minute but Rooney Wallace scored two minutes later to equalise the scoreline.
