Slowly growing into the role as Liverpool’s first choice goalkeeper, Loris Karius had a great game against Sunderland on the weekend.

Besides blocking anything little Sunderland could muster attack-wise, the former Mainz keeper’s distribution skills were also on display in the match, especially when he played a superb long pass to Roberto Firmino.

Racing out to make a clearance, the German struck a neat first time half-volley for the Brazilian, who was hovering around the centre circle.
