Pic: West Ham fans voted for the post to be their man of the match after Hull hit it three times on Saturday

Mark Noble’s second half penalty condemned an impressive Hull City to the cruellest of defeats as West Ham secured a vital 1-0 win at the London Stadium on Saturday.

It was the visitors who dominated proceedings from the go only to be denied by the woodwork on three occasions. Tom Huddlestone eventually gave away a soft penalty which Noble duly converted to hand West Ham a most fluky win on Saturday.

In the aftermath of the win, West Ham’s official Twitter account ran a poll for the Man of the Match and & incredibly ‘The Post’ won the poll with 57% of the votes.

Not surprising as it saved the West Ham defence from the blushes 3 times during the match. Check out the poll below:
