Kyle Bartley’s header and a wonderful brace by Chris Wood helped Leeds comfortably beat Rotherham United 3-0 in the Yorkshire derby at Elland Road.
Although Rotherham looked the better side in the first half, Garry Monk’s Leeds sprang back to life immediately after half time as Bartley headed a cross from the corner into the goal in the 47th minute.
The game was in its 66th minute when Wood’s right foot converted Bridcutt’s cross into a wonderful strike in the top left corner. The striker scored a similar goal again in the dying moments of the game to help Leeds achieve their 6th win in the last 8 games.
With Brighton and Reading snatching late wins, Leeds are still hopeful of a promotion by maintaining their 5th spot on the table. Check out the highlights below!
