When manager Antonio Conte was unveiled at Chelsea last year, he said he was here to “work, work, work” in a new era at Stamford Bridge with the aim to extinguish painful memories of the previous season after the defending champions had fallen to finish 10th on the table.
Half way into this season, after the Blues’ win against Stoke City, Chelsea have equaled the record of 13 consecutive wins, a coveted feat which was established by the famous Arsenal Invincibles during the end of their successful 2001/02 campaign
