Nobody can deny that if Chelsea continue to maintain their current form, they have a serious chance of adding a sixth League title to their formidable trophy cabinet. Antonio Conte’s arrival at the helm has transformed the club, but it hasn’t been completely free from controversy.
Several Chelsea fans have repeatedly lashed out their manager for his ill-treatment of striker Michy Batshuayi. The youngster landed in London from Marseille six months ago in July last year but still hasn’t been given his League debut yet.
Fans’ disappointment escalated when Conte had to find a replacement for striker Diego Costa during Chelsea’s trip to Leicester and, instead of natural-fit Michy, the Italian opted for winger Eden Hazard.
However, when a Chelsea faithful wished that Conte would show more respect towards Batshuayi, the Belgian won hearts by responding that the manager really does so.
