Liverpool have the distinction of being one of the most cohesive sides in the Premier League. They amount of miles they clock whilst on the field is testament to that.
Adam Lallana signifies this approach perhaps better than anyone. The English international has been a revelation as an advanced midfielder; not only has he scored and assisted on a regular basis, he’s done a lot of running around this season.
Amazingly, a graphic flashed before the Liverpool-Swansea game showed that whilst Lallana doesn’t have the record of most distance covered in a league game this season, he occupies every other position in the top 5. The person who ruined his near-perfect is Bournemouth’s Dan Gosling.
