These stats emerging post Burnley win should put Arsenal’s ‘weak mentality’ tag to rest

Arsenal are amongst one of the Premier League’s most consistent sides when it comes to making the Champions League year in & year out.

But the lack of titles in recent history has earned the Arsenal squad a notoriety for having a  weak mentality. And it seems Wenger’s boys have worked hard to shed the image of their defeatist attitude and the thrilling 2-1 win over Burnley is clear evidence of it.

Arsenal conceded a penalty goal in the 92nd minute following Coquelin’s sending off, and the equalizer could have cost them the second spot they currently enjoy.

But despite being a man short, the squad composed themselves and Sanchez’s panenka clinched the game in its dying moments.

In fact, a fantastic stat pointed out in a tweet by PL’s Twitter handle highlights exactly how well the Gunners play while being a man short.

Check out Arsenal’s insane stat below!
