Manchester City’s season didn’t end up taking much of a turn for the better after their 2-2 draw against Tottenham at the Etihad Stadium on the weekend. Pep Guardiola has been coming under much fire for the side’s form and his critics would have gotten even more ammo after City let a two goal lead slip at home.
However, the result eventually turned out to be a good one for Spurs, who maintained their position amongst the Champions League spots and got yet another good result against a side that are considered title contenders.
Whilst most would be happy with a draw against a club like City, it’s safe to say Christian Eriksen isn’t most people.
Fan footage of Son Heung-min’s late equaliser recently surfaced on social media and it captured something not seen during the game’s live broadcast.
As Spurs’ players ran up to celebrate the goal, Eriksen displayed his winning mentality as he quietly sprinted to the goal and picked the ball out of the net, determined to get play started and maybe grab a winner.

Don’t forget that Lloris gifted Manchester City with there 2 goals to give them the lead. So it was a great effort for Spurs to get a draw although without the Lloris errors they might have sneaked the game.
View CommentTBF I think he got the ball to prevent City from making a quick restart to the game while everyone is still celebrating.
View CommentThey can’t restart the game while any of the Spurs players are in their half, so your theory is invalid
View CommentSo with this winning mentality, where are his medals?
