There are whispers that the Belgian is learning Spanish ahead of a move to Real Madrid, but a reliable source has served to calm Chelsea supporters.
Known for his connections with Belgian players in the Premier League, Kristof Terreur, a leading football journalist with Belgian news outlet Het Laatste Nieuws has labelled Hazard as “unsaleable” even for the princely sum of 100 million Euros. Manager Antonio Conte is keen on strengthening his squad and holding on to the former PFA Player of the Year is central to his plans.
Hazard is again on a list of potential reinforcements at Real Madrid, but ‘The Blues’ are not inclined to cooperate with a transfer. At the request of coach Conte owner Abramovich will strengthen the future champion team, not weaken. Conte Hazard recently named yet unmarketable. Even if there will more than 100 million euros on the table.
The ex-Lille winger is under contract at Stamford Bridge till 2020 with the club keen to have him sign a two year extension to fend off overtures from the Bernabeu. With Madrid and their millions also keen to snatch up Thibaut Courtois, Chelsea look set to hold their ground in securing their biggest assets.
