In the world of football, Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris is seen as a player who wins over hearts with both, his stunning saves as well as his qualities as a brilliant human being.
The Frenchman earned immense respect once again following his national team’s 1-3 win over Luxembourg, and not just from his compatriots but from fans of the other nation as well.
Lloris’ counterpart Luxembourg keeper Anthony Moris suffered an ACL injury in the first 20 minutes and has been ruled out from football action for at least 8 months.
The Tottenham captain, who has had his own share of injuries in the past, expressed empathy with Moris and sent over a signed jersey with a heartfelt message.
Lloris offered support towards the Luxembourg shot stopper and wished for his speedy recovery in a letter accompanied with his shirt.
