A welcome sight back – Pontus Jansson jacking up the Leeds fans during Preston win (Video)

If there is one thing Leeds United have become notably famous for this season, it has been sheer determination.

After losing their last two games consecutively, Leeds overturned their slump in form to cement their place in the play-offs with a crucial 3-0 win over Preston today.

The hosts notched an opener on the scoresheet with a goal by Kemar Roofe in the 18th minute before Pablo Hernandez further extended the lead just before half time.

Leeds exploited a chance yet again late in injury time to see substitute Souleymane Doukara seal the victory in the last minute of the game.

Unparalleled willingness to win helped Gary Monk’s men climb up to the fifth position this time, after rivals Reading were also hammered 7-1 at the hands of Norwich City.

And as a true testament to their fighting spirit, Pontus Jansson showed what the club stood for with his celebration involving the fans following a goal.
