You Never Stop Learning

When you reach the highest level of your chosen field, it’s easy to think you know everything there is to know. Football managers are no different – the pressure on them is immense and as a result they often need to project an image of someone who knows exactly what they’re doing.

Antonio Conte is certainly one of the best names in the management currently. The Italian reinvigorated a Juventus team and set up the foundation for a dynasty of title reigns, while his first season at Chelsea has been incredible. So what does one of the world’s best do in his spare time? He attends coaching workshops.

The Chelsea boss was seen at a session conducted by the legendary Marcelo Bielsa, who himself is revered by even the most respected coaches in the world. While it may be amusing to see a man who is currently in pole position to claim a league title in this context, Conte is known as a true student of the game whose obsession of the all day, everyday variety.

Conte would have picked up some great tips from his time with Bielsa but perhaps a lot of managers could learn a lot from the ex-Juventus star as well.
