Former Everton man Tim Howard suspended after video of him swearing at the fans surfaces online

Former Manchester United and Everton goalkeeper, Tim Howard was handed a three match ban by the Major League Soccer with regards to an inappropriate fan interaction that occurred during his side’s 3-1 defeat to Sporting Kansas City.

The US international was banned and fined by the MLS after video footage emerged showing him swearing back at the home fans in obscene language behind his goal during the match at Children’s Mercy Park.

While in all fairness, the ban may seem harsh with the fans playing a big part in riling up the keeper, it is unbecoming of a proven experienced professional such as Howard.

The US international at age 38 can easily lay claim to being one of the most experienced players in the squad and given his experience and the conduct expected of any professional, Howard certainly seemed to have fallen a tad short this time around.
