Hopefully no one bought it
Aside from Chelsea’s overwhelming dominance in the league this season, the spotlight has very much been on another London club, albeit for the wrong reasons.
North of the capital, it has been yet another season of disappointment for Arsenal with the club plagued by poor form and the uncertainty over the futures of Wenger, Sanchez and Ozil. Arsene Wenger’s future in particular has been the talk of the town for much of the season with the Frenchman continuing to polarize opinions among fans and pundits alike.
The sad state of affairs at Arsenal has attracted numerous trolls and abuses from rival fans, none more so than from fierce rivals Tottenham Hotspur who for the first time in 22 years are poised to finish above Arsenal in the league.
Some more trolling of the Arsenal boss was spotted outside WHL yesterday ahead of the Tottenham-Bournemouth tie as scarves which read ‘Arsene Wenger, We want you to stay’ went up for sale amongst others.
