Liverpool’s 1-0 win over West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns was exactly what the doctor ordered for the Reds. With the race for Champions League spots getting tighter as the season comes to a close, the Reds need to win as much as they possibly can, especially against sides they tend to struggle against.

It could have been very different though as West Brom had their chances, particularly in the 80th minute that could have changed the course of the game. However, the heroics of one man kept Liverpool’s lead.

Simon Mignolet pulled off an amazing save against Stoke to ensure they took all the points home and he once again stepped up to the plate here.

This was even better, blocking a shot from point blank range with just one foot. It seems the Belgian wants to silence all his haters once and for all.
