Celtic have been astonishing this season. Celtic Park has been in ceaseless celebration in a year where the home team’s record boasts of 29 wins and 4 draws from 33 games. Apart from giving the Arsenal ‘Invincibles’ a run for their money, Brendan Rodgers’ side sealed the League title with nearly two months still left in the season’s calendar, such has been their dominance.

In the face of such feats, you can forgive Celtic fans for feeling entitled to let everyone know that their team is the best in Scotland – they are resoundingly so.

In fact, one fan even took part in the London marathon to let everyone in the capital of the Old Enemy know just who won the Scottish Premier League. Twitter user @midfieldmaestr8 decided to run the full length race draped in a green flag with white stripes akin to the national flag with the word ‘Champions’ emblazoned across it along with the Celtic club crest – no need to ask him who he backs in the Old Firm Derby.

Needless to say, social media caught on to the images and the reactions were brilliant, with messages of congratulations going to the dedicated super-fan. Celtic have painted Scotland green, they have missives over in England to spread the news – you can almost imagine Brendan Rodgers going “Next – The World!”
