While Brighton and Newcastle celebrated their promotion to the Premier League this month, things have not been so rosy in the northern county of Yorkshire. It has been a tumultuous month to say in the least for Leeds United with the once promotion hopefuls enduring a string of poor results to drop out of the top six.
The once jubilant mood around Elland Road has been replaced with that of trepidation as well as a sense of resignation of their fate in the Championship yet again next season.
With Leeds United going through a very dismal and ominous phase, the club once again grabbed headlines for the wrong reasons in the latest episode of the ITV arbitration show Judge Rinder. The show which features real life criminal barrister, Robert Rinder as a judge presiding over a variety of civil cases made a strong reference to Leeds United with Rinder slamming the entire management of the Yorkshire club.
Leeds could well do with a break from all the negative publicity for now with the club still having an outside change of qualifying for the play-offs in the final two games of the season.
