Manchester United’s 0-0 draw against Manchester City might have been a largely listless game, but the result was a good one for Jose Mourinho’s men. An upcoming game against relegation battlers Swansea at home was the perfect chance to stamp their authority on the race for 4th place.
However, Swansea clearly had other plans. Determined to stay up at any costs, Paul Clement’s side put up a good fight and managed to snatch a point, even threatening to win the game towards the end. As for United, they ended up putting in yet another dull performance devoid of much fight.
One player who was the exception to that was Anthony Martial. The French forward has been finding some form lately due to the fire that his manager lit under him with a number of public criticisms. He showed all that fire to poor Kyle Naughton, who actually backed down after receiving a death stare from the striker.
