Even if they do eventually fall short in their pursuit for the Premier League title, it can certainly be said that Tottenham Hotspur has had another fantastic season in the Premier League.
Barring their early European exit, the team have been faultless for much of the season with their youthful and creative brand of football earning rave plaudits throughout the season.
That said though, the recent developments surrounding the future of Spurs full-back Kyle Walker does threaten to ruin an otherwise excellent season for Spurs. Walker who was nominated into the PFA Team of the season for his superb form yet again this season has surprisingly been linked with a move away from Tottenham after a reported bust up with manager Mauricio Pochettino.
Amid such speculations, the right back’s recent activity on Twitter further added fuel to fire with Walker changing his Twitter header and avi from the Spurs colors to that of the England national team.
