Having played for a whopping 117 years at White Hart Lane, Tottenham Hotspur are finally set to bid adieu to their iconic home stadium at the end of this season.
With the construction of the new stadium set to complete by the 2018/19 season, Spurs have made an agreement with the English FA to play all their home matches at the Wembley Stadium next season.
The agreement will see Tottenham take to the White Hart Lane pitch for the last time ever in their upcoming home match against Manchester United.
With the stadium being host to such a long history, a feeling of nostalgia has understandably enveloped all those associated with the stadium, be it former players, opponents, pundits or fans.
Ahead of Sunday’s match against Manchester United, social media was abuzz with many of the Spurs faithful posting their nostalgic moments.
