Pic: Daniel Sturridge acknowledges the West Ham fan giving him the finger after his goal for Liverpool

Daniel Sturridge could not have picked a better time to score his 1st goal in 132 days as he opened the scoring during Liverpool’s 4-0 rout of West Ham.

Much to the surprise of Liverpool fans, the Englishman started the match for the Reds at the London Stadium earlier today.

But it wasn’t surprising when he rounded off the keeper to put Liverpool 1-0 ahead after a beautiful assist from Coutinho.

And the striker took to social media to acknowledge while also not forgetting the Hammers fan who was obviously less than pleased to see the wavy hands make a comeback.
