Arsenal kept alive their slim hopes of a securing a Champions League spot as they comfortably saw off Stoke City 4-1 at the Britannia Stadium on Saturday.
Goals from Oliver Giroud, Alexis Sanchez and Mezut Ozil ensured Arsenal a most comfortable evening at one of the grounds where big teams have flattered on many occasions.
Apart from the five-star display from the Arsenal attack, it was 21-year-old defender Rob Holding who equally impressed on a tough night for the Arsenal defence.
Holding has come in leaps and bounds ever since Wenger’s switch to a back three and he impressed yet again standing firm against a very physical Stoke City.
In one moment of the match, the English defender was seen executing two crunching tackles on two different Stoke players in quick succession winning the ball cleanly on both occasions.
