It wouldn’t be wrong to say that Jurgen Klopp surely does not mind splashing the cash to strengthen his Liverpool side in order to prepare for the next season.

After signing Mohamed Salah from Roma for a transfer fee of €42 million, the Merseyside club has now been heavily linked with RB Leipzig player Naby Keita.

Media speculation is rife that Klopp had already set aside Keita as his number 1 target for this summer and will not be cowed down by the £70 million price tag set by the Bundesliga outfit, nearly double Liverpool’s previous transfer record.

And it seems that a first team player in Adam Lallana has echoed the sentiments of his manager on social media. Lallana’s official Instagram account was spotted liking a Liverpool fan account’s post about Naby Keita.

The Central Midfielder’s performances from RB Leipzig’s midfield were applauded by pundits this season and have caught the attention of many world class clubs. He is a pacy and dynamic box to box central midfielder who distributes passes with precision and also has a mean eye for goal for a center mid, scoring 8 goals for his team in 31 appearances this season.

Keita, without a doubt, will be a meaningful addition to the team and provide more stability following the imminent departure of Lucas Leiva. The Guinea international will add to the team’s already blistering pace, with the likes of Mane, Clyne ,Salah, Coutinho and Firmino providing more than enough speed on the counter.
