Rangers manager Pedro Caixinha may be in only the third month of his managerial role in Glasgow, but he’s already feeling the heat. With the humiliating exit from the Europa League this week, the Portuguese isn’t endearing himself to the fans. Just ask William McKee.
The Scot filed a petition against the Rangers gaffer demanding his sacking, however, was left ashen-faced as only two people turned out to back his plea.
Following the 2-0 loss to Luxemborg outfit Progres Niederkorn who hadn’t won a single match till that point, Rangers were dumped out of the first qualifying round of the Europa League, and McKee seemed to have enough of Pedro.
Whilst the Portuguese did have a tumultuous start in Scotland, but quite predictably, the petition by McKee wasn’t entertained by the fans as it fell merely to the deaf ears.
Though one can infer from this that if the 46-year old is to continue at the helm of the Scottish giants, McKee may have to live with the agony of watching him patrol the Rangers dugout for many more months.
