While all clubs have been working overtime to make the most of the summer transfer window keeping in mind the next season that is looming over the horizon, Tottenham have also directed focus towards their new stadium.

The state of the art 61,000 seater arena, that is currently being constructed on top of what previously was the White Hart Lane, has been eagerly awaited by every Spurs fan.

What has also been the main contention of curiosity amongst supporters is the name of their new home, as the club had claimed that it would not be named after the old ground and that they were looking for a big sponsorship deal for the same.

One theory suggested that it would be named after Nike, as Sports Direct had apparently dropped a hint while introducing new Spurs kits.

But what seemed a little far-fetched then looks accurate now, as an official mail to fans has perhaps reiterated the claim that Tottenham might play in the Nike Stadium soon.

Once can be coincidence, but twice says something. Check out a screenshot of the reported mail below –

  1. No.

The £50 replica shirts are called “Stadium” and the £90 shirts the players wear are called “Elite.”

  2. No, there are two different versions on the shirt. The vapor match shirt is the exact one the players wear on matchday and the stadium shirt is not.

    1. You are, of course, correct.

No wonder ‘fake news’ is such a thing; if only the author’s would do a few moments research before posting articles like this.
