So after years of speculations, Everton starlet Romelu Lukaku is finally on his way out of the Goodison Park as Manchester United have struck a whopping £75 million deal to sign the Belgian international, and the catalyst behind the move is, you won’t believe, Paul Pogba!

The Frenchman is said to have a hand in materializing the move and the duo caught up recently when Lukaku arrived to Manchester for his medical. An Instagram post from United talisman Paul Pogba featuring new boy Romelu Lukaku surfaced online, and out of the thousands of likes that it garnered, one was by Inter Milan’s Ivan Perisic, hinting his desire to join them at United.

The Croat has been a subject of transfer this summer and also a long United target. However, no official bid is launched as such till now. But the fact that Perisic liked the post by Pogba is seen as an inadvertent attempt to express his desire to move to United, if only Pogba has taken note of this.

A winger of Perisic’s stature could be a great addition to United as it would bolster an already fearsome attacking line-up. However, the move still hangs by the balance. But if agent Pogba intervenes, then the transfer saga might accelerate.
