Yesterday marked the end of the much publicized Romelu Lukaku transfer saga after it was confirmed that Belgian will be joining Manchester United on a five – year contract for a transfer fee in the region of £75m.

The transfer will come as a big shock to the Premier League champions Chelsea as both, the Red Devils and the Blues were believed to be involved in a bidding war to secure the ex- Everton man’s signature.

Conte and Chelsea fans, amidst the rumors of unsettled Diego Costa’s imminent exit, realise the fact that the foundation for any team that wants to challenge for the EPL throne is a striker who can score at least 20 odd goals in a season and will be disappointed by losing out to Manchester United in the competition to sign one of Chelsea’s former players.

Beating Chelsea is a big issue for United fans, be it a major match, or a major transfer, and vice versa. Some cheeky digs and banter is always expected when two super forces of the Premier League collide.

This time was no different as Axel Tuanzebe, one of United’s academy graduates left a subtle like on a photo mocking Chelsea over the Lukaku transfer saga and United fans are absolutely loving it. Check out the screenshot below –

It’s safe to say that what goes around really comes back around because United have now got their revenge for the Pedro Rodriguez saga after the Spaniard rejected United’s offer to join Chelsea back in 2015.
