Tottenham Hotspur may have closed one of the most historic chapters of their Premier League history when they finished the 2016/17 season as the runners-up, their best finish to a season, but there were also a few moments of gloom. More pertinently bidding adieu to their dearest White Hart Lane.

The stadium would be demolished in favor of a newer stadium that is currently under construction, and recent images suggest its all taking shape.

In a troika of pictures which were made online by @TodaySpurs, one can see sheets of glasses being put up on the exterior of the stadium. Or more precisely, at the Lilywhite house end of the stadium.

Although its completion is still a while away which is why the Spurs will make Wembley their home for next season, the work on their new stadium had begun well over a year ago and these images suggest they are very much in progress.

Things are falling into place and its becoming more and more exciting for the club and fans alike, who cannot wait to welcome their new ‘home’.
