Di Canio serves a reminder of his loyalty for West Ham
Paolo Di Canio last played for the Hammers 14 years ago, yet he harbours the same affection for the Clarets and Blue, whom he represented all those years back. In an interview his frequent reference to West Ham as ‘we’ demonstrated his undying love for the club and it’s supporters.
The Italian talked at length about the problems plaguing the London Club and remarked changes that need to be made in order to maintain sustainable success.
On his left upper arm is a tattoo of the West ham logo right next to another tattoo of his father on his chest, clearly indicating that he regards himself as a permanent member of the Hammers family.
A return to his beloved team in the future is certainly a mouth watering prospect and the Upton Park faithful will be delighted to be represented by a manager who resonates the same passion for their football club as them.
An aggressive personality with controversial political views, the Italian divides opinion among the masses, however he will certainly go down as a legend in the Hammers and Premier League folklore.
