With a ticket back to the Champions League and a great summer transfer break, Liverpool have a lot to look forward to next season.
The Reds, despite some big odds stacked against them, managed to hang on to the last top-four spot after the culmination of a very successful 2016/17 campaign, and there is a general sense of optimism amongst fans, who expect their club to finally bring some much needed silverware now.
Riding on this wave of optimism is also Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, who actually seems to be basking on some particularly well-fought glories from the last season as well.
While giving his thoughts on Crystal Palaces’ season opener at the Emirates on the 12th next month, Klopp said it could be relatively easy for the visitors, as even his own club did not have to work that hard when they faced Arsenal away last season.
