After their pre-season campaign began on a bad note following a loss against Bursaspor, Leeds showed a great deal of improvement with a 1-1 draw against German side Borussia Monchengladbach earlier this week.
The Peacocks took only two minutes to open the game with a Luke Ayling goal, which was cancelled out by their opponents just after half time.
Several close missed chances, particularly involving Kalvin Phillips and Kemar Roofe hitting Borussia’s crossbar, resulted in Leeds settling for a draw when they clearly deserved to be the winning side.
Not everything seemed to be in vain, though, as fans got to witness some stunning skills courtesy of Hadi Sacko. The 23-year old pulled off mind blowing tekkers against a Borussia defender before packing him off with a brilliant side-step move and a powerful strike.
Although it fell short of resulting into a goal, Sacko’s moment of brilliance will surely leave fans optimistic about the next season. Check out a video of the same below –
