Brazilian magic too much for the Leicester man

The final of Premier League Asia Trophy saw the coming together of two of the most skillful merchants in World Football as Liverpool and Leicester City battled it out in front of a jam packed stadium. Riyad Mahrez, who has the become the creative genius in the foxes side was undone by Philippe Coutinho as the Reds number 10 dropped his shoulder past him.

The Algerian had to resort to unfair means to prevent a counter as he dragged the Brazilian, grabbing his shirt in the process, only to be caught impeding by the referee’s whistle.

The sight of two talismanic players competing for the ball drew a huge applause from crowd, with Mahrez leaving much to be desired from a defense point of view. Liverpool fans have been accustomed to their little magician wrong footing players in England and Honk Kong proved to be no different.

Liverpool came from behind to beat Leicester 2-1, as Coutinho scored the winner. The Leicester crowd pleaser looked dangerous initially but faded away as the game went on.

One particular run past the covering midfield put foxes fans on their feet and surely they have an argument on their hands since their beloved asset is not a defender by trade, made evident by his not so sublime efforts against Philippe Coutinho.
