For staunch football fans, there is only one place that they can truly and collectively call their own home away from home: their club’s beloved home ground.

Apart from traditionally being the place fans throng to for watching their heroes in action almost every weekend, the sentimental value attached to every field makes it one of the most important aspects of a club’s heritage.

All that being said, supporters of Leeds United would love to know that their club’s owner resonates the exact same feelings when it comes to their cherished home ground, Elland Road.

When Andrea Radrizzani had purchased full ownership rights from the club’s previous owners, he had promised that Leeds would soon buy back their stadium.

With that promise fulfilled, the Italian businessman has now gone a step further and announced massive re-branding plans to bring Elland Road back to its glory.

Fans would be assured to know that this exercise won’t be detrimental to their ground, instead it would only augment its place in the club’s legacy.
