2017-18 is expected to be a big season for West Ham, who will look forward to improving their tally from their last campaign and finish a little higher this time.

Being active in the transfer window this summer, the Hammers have roped in the likes of Joe Hart, Pablo Zabaleta, Marko Arnautović and, most recently, Javier Hernández to add greater depth to their squad.

While all their signings are expected to have a big impact in their own ways, fans seem to be most excited about what Zabaleta will bring to the club.

The 32-year old arrived in London after Manchester City released him earlier last month. The defender’s career spans across 15 years spent at three clubs as well as his national team.

And it is this experience that seems to be just what West Ham needed, as it appears that Zabaleta has already started stepping up to lead his team, even in training.
