Gunners have a new facility in their backyard
A long list of injured players was highlighted as one of the key reasons behind Arsenal’s inability to finish in Champions League places last season.
And in an attempt to improve their miserable injury record, Arsenal training centre has been fitted with a cryotherapy chamber.
Cryotherapy has been known to reduce the weariness in muscles, going below subzero temperatures to maximize recovery in a short span of time.
A 38 game season along with the Europa League, League Cup and FA Cup schedule, will demand high standards of physical performance and this new facility will do it’s bit in conditioning players especially at the deep end of campaign.
Often derided for their lack of investment in the first team, the past two seasons has seen Arsene Wenger break their transfer records on multiple occasions. The arrival of Alexandre Lacazette is a subtle reminder that the owners are willing to spend in pursuit of titles.
Addition of the cryotherapy chamber goes on to establish their intent and belief in maintaining their current squad. Going into the new season, fans will be pleased with the added efforts to reduce injury concerns.
