Debuting in the Champions League, right back Trent Alexander-Arnold curled home a brilliant free-kick to give Liverpool a priceless away goal versus Hoffenheim on Wednesday.
What followed was a slew of emotions having scored for his boyhood club.
His brother joined in the celebrations from the stands, clearly underlining how much it meant to them, as the last person to achieve a similar feat for the Reds was the legendary Steven Gerrard.
Liverpool have struggled to find a set-piece taker other than Philippe Coutinho in their ranks.
However after witnessing Trent’s ability last night, the Kop will surely be buzzing at their prospect’s potential.
For now, the young prodigy will have to compete with Nathaniel Clyne for a starting spot, but it is safe to say the full-back is one for the future for Liverpool as well as England.
