N’Golo Kante has been a revelation since arriving in the Premier League and the Frenchman continued his form on Sunday during Chelsea’s 2-1 win against Spurs at Wembley.
Even the usually remarkable Harry Kane found it difficult to keep up with the show on display from Kante.
Realising his side were short on numbers at the back, Kane tried to use his body in impeding Kante’s run. Yet, the 2016/17 Player of the Season brushed him aside effortlessly.
The sight of their star man getting dismissed at the hands of a rival added to the woes of the White Hart Lane faithful, who are yet to get accustomed to their temporary home.
Harry Kane looked dangerous initially, hitting the post in the first half but Antonio Conte negated his presence easily, using Kante to mark him out of the game and the Frenchman left the Tottenham talisman smelling grass during a moment in the game.
