Leeds United recorded their biggest victory yet under new manager Thomas Christiansen by coming from behind to beat Newport County 5-1 in the EFL Cup encounter on Wednesday.
The Peacocks were successful in overturning Newport’s first half goal thanks to an impressive hat-trick by Kemar Roofe, while new boy Samu Saiz also found the net along with Ronaldo Vieira.
The visitors found it very difficult to deal with their opponents initially, but once Roofe had slotted in his first goal, their morale received a massive boost, making them reveal some beautiful skills and abilities to score even more.
Take Stuart Dallas, for example. The winger produced an ankle-breaking flick during a run towards the goal, sending Newport full-back David Pipe literally tumbling down on the pitch.
Dallas then went on to cross the ball in, eventually finding Roofe who smashed it into the goal for his second of the night.
