Pic: Leeds United in 2017/18 so far – Fewest minutes trailed, Most tackles won, Joint-most clean sheets

While it is still early days, Leeds United have certainly emerged as one of the stand-out teams in the Championship this season. After a whirlwind summer which saw them recruit 16 new players as well as witness several structural changes from the manager to the administration staff and the owners, there was every bit the possibility of a season gone haywire.

The club though to their credit has continued the good work from the previous season as they remain unbeaten so far and sit comfortably at the third spot in the league standings.

A Leeds fan most recently posted a stats comparison of Leeds United’s performances this season and the numbers certainly do justice to the way Leeds have performed so far.

Leeds’ resolute defense which has been crucial to their early form is underlined by the stats as the Whites lead the rest of the Championship in terms of the fewest minutes trailed, most successful tackles and also the joint most clean sheets.

One downside though is the attacking stats which look comparatively mediocre, something which the team will hope to improve upon in the upcoming matches.
