Etihad stadium witnessed Pep Guardiola’s team demolish a 10-man Liverpool 5-0 on Saturday. A comprehensive defeat, which left a sour taste in its aftermath for the Reds faithful.

Yet, it’s that time of the season when fixtures flow in thick and fast and Liverpool face a daunting task in their Champions League clash against Sevilla on Wednesday.

With little time to ponder over a disastrous performance, Jurgen Klopp’s men will be lining up against a side which bested them in the Europa League final last year.

The starting lineup from Jurgen Klopp came under a lot of criticism, especially the centre-back paring of Ragnar Klavan and Joel Matip, who were completely outclassed by City’s attack last weekend.

With Coutinho back in the mix, Liverpool fans would be hoping for a strong reply from the players, along with a few changes in the lineup.
