Chelsea’s summer acquisition from Real Madrid, Alvaro Morata was left rather red-faced after a back-heel pass from youngster Ethan Ampadu went past his legs just before their game against Nottingham Forrest last night.
Chelsea eventually went on to thrash Forest 5-1 with Ampadu playing majority of the second half.
Apart from embarrassing his senior team-mate, the 17-year old played a brilliant game after coming on from the bench to replace Cesc Fabregas.
Ampadu became Chelsea’s youngest debutant in over a decade (and their first ever player born in this century) to play for the club.
Surely an outstanding achievement made even better with this naughty move on Morata –
