Daniel Sturridge is moving on after all

While the above headline may seem to suggest of an impending exit from Merseyside, the Liverpool forward instead is planning on giving up his trademark wavy goal celebration.

In a recent interview, the striker remarked his intentions of switching to a different signature style. The ‘Studge’ celebration that has become an iconic sight for the Anfield faithful seems to have run its length.

The move which put smiles on every Liverpool supporter’s face since its advent against Mansfield town, 2013 has been of intense nostalgic value for the Reds. Don’t be surprised to see some despondent Scouse faces when the striker scores next time.
