New boy Oriol Rey bringing some much needed positivity for the Leeds fans, who have gotten frustrated with the lacklustre displays on show from the first team.
The 19-year-old La Masia graduate looked to have drawn inspiration from the geniuses he might have watched at Catalonia when he scored an absolute cracker of a volley from outside the box against the Nottingham U23s earlier today.
Supporters of the club will be hoping that this was a sign of things to come from the Spanish center-back who has yet to make an appearance for the first team after moving from Barcelona’s famous academy for a free transfer back in August.
The match ended 1-1, check out the goal from Rey below –
👏 What a volley from @OriolRey_6 to open the scoring for the U23s today against Nottingham Forest!
