While the sight of a foreign player doing a presser in English might not come across as something noteworthy, an English player doing the same in a foreign language is certainly a moment of rarity and real intrigue.
This was just what conspired when England international Eric Dier chose to do an interview in Portuguese following England’s 0-0 draw with Brazil on Tuesday.
Dier who grew up in Portugal was seen fluently responding to the post-match presser queries in Portuguese and the exhibition of the bilingual ability from the Spurs midfielder sure did leave a lot of people impressed.
