Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s transfer from Arsenal to Liverpool has not exactly gone according to the winger’s plans.
After making only two Premier League starts since arriving at Anfield, the England star is doing little to dispel accusations of not fulfilling his potential.
Adding to his misery, Ox was unexpectedly roasted by a young Liverpool fan as he participated in an undercover prank for Liverpool sponsor MBNA’s social media channels.
Donning a disguise as part of a prank at Liverpool’s store, Ox attempted to convince the young fan to buy his jersey by saying that he would be a future superstar at the club.
Although he had no clue that he was talking to the Ox himself, the boy retorted by reminding the winger that he has been hyping himself up for the last 10 years with little to show for it.
