Caretaker boss Graeme Murty saw his side defeat Aberdeen for the second time this week as Rangers took all the three points despite being a man down for large parts of the game.
In what could be the Scot’s final game in charge, the former defender was seen whole-heartedly applauding the away supporters present at the Pittodrie stadium after the full-time whistle.
The fans have been fully behind the Scot after Pedro Caixinha’s exit five weeks ago and were once again heard chanting his name during the game.
The result takes Rangers to second spot in the league above Aberdeen and 7 points behind Celtic who have a game in hand on their rivals.
